Helen Lyons age 75 of Dallas, Texas, daughter of the late Mr. Millard and Mrs. Roberson, departed her earthly home Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Texas Regional Hospital in Sunnyvale, Texas. A former resident of Dallas/Forney, Texas and a Tyler native, she was a long time faithful member of Bethlehem First Baptist Church where Rev. James Price is the pastor. While residing in Dallas/Forney, was under watch care of Rhodes Terrace Bible Fellowship Church – Dallas, where Rev. E. D. Charles is the pastor.

Helen was a graduate of Emmitt Scott High School. Shortly after graduating she married and worked as a Private Homemaker for many years. Not long after retiring around 2002, she relocated to Dallas with her son and family in 2004.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Travis Lyons; one sister, Lois Roberson; one nephew, Terry Lyons. She leaves to morn her passing, one son, Andre' Lyons (Teresa); three grandchildren, Andrea' , Andre' II and Terell Lyons; one brother, Bruce Lyons, Sr.; three nephews, Bruce Jr., Tony and Bob; two nieces, Stephanie and Beverly; and a host of great nephews, nieces and cousins.
