Helena was my sister-in-law, married to my brother Paul. She was a very special person to me for all the many, many, years we knew each other. My husband, Cliff, thought Helena's pies were always the highpoint of any family gathering. He especially liked her butterscotch pie. She was indeed a great cook. I am so glad she did not suffer, God spared her the pain and suffering so many have with illness. I will not be able to attend

I am so glad she did not suffer, God spared her the pain and suffering so many have with illness. I will not be able to attend the viewing or the funeral, due to my age and the weather, but I will say the rosary during the time it will be said for Helena. I am with all of you in spirit and my sympathy and love goes out to all of you.

Keeping everyone updated on how the rest of the family was doing was her full time job. She was definitely the ‘glue’ that held the family together. What a blessing that she did not have any pain and passed quietly in her sleep. God held her in his arms till the end. We will all miss her.
