Helmut K. Lindemann, 77, of Clark, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway.Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Sunday, June 28 from 2 - 4 pm at the Walter J. Johnson Funeral Home, 803 Raritan Rd., ClarkMr. Lindemann was born in Berlin, Germany and resided in Irvington, before moving to Clark 48 years ago. He was a member of the Deutscher Club of Clark and a former President of the Goldene 13 Club. Mr. Lindemann served in the Army during the Korean War.Mr. Lindemann was employed as a Tool & Die Maker for Accurate Tool & Die Company of Roselle Park for 35 years, retiring in 1994.Mr. Lindemann was the beloved husband of the late Mrs. Ursula (Lamparter) Lindemann and the devoted father of Mrs. Susan McCarthy and her husband Christopher of Lake Hopatcong, Mrs. Karen Eley and her husband Stephen of AZ and Mrs. Heidi Surovetz and her husband Nelson of Saddle Brook. He was the cherished grandfather of Julia, Maggie, Cara, Devan and Justin. Mr. Lindemann was the dear brother of Mrs. Margaret Scacifero of Westfield and Mr. Hans Lindemann of Germany.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad, 875 Raritan Rd., Clark, NJ 07066.
