Services for Henrietta Englemann Polansky, 87 of Caldwell, are set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home of Caldwell. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 10, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m., also at the Funeral Home in Caldwell. Mrs. Polansky passed away on December 7, 2010. Henrietta was born October 28, 1923 to Rudolph F. Englemann and Beneta L Zwernemann Englemann in Cooks Point, Texas. She worked as a bookkeeper at Holland Porter Company Farms for 58 years and she loved her work. She enjoyed being outside and working in her flower beds, playing dominoes and attending family gatherings. She was also a member of St. Marys Catholic Church of Caldwell and a lifetine member of the American Legion Auxillary, Duetsch Houston Unit 451 and Campbell William VFW Auxiliary #4458. Henrietta was also active in the Snook EEA club. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law; Jeanne & Sam Prestwood of Caldwell, and grandchildren Erich R. Loehr and Scott A. Loehr, whom she loved to spend time with and support in all of their activities. Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband Stanley, her parents, one sister, Eleanora Wanda Englemann, and an infant son; William Fredrich Jameson.
