Henrietta Lawrence Pummill was born near Viola Tennessee to Charles Jatoughn and Maude Etter Lawrence, on June 9, 1908. She died on Friday, July 22 at 4:22 pm. Mother, the always positive, gracious, and totally accomplished, left her earthly body exactly as she desired. She slept from Wednesday to Friday and breathed her last breath with several of her family members with her and was at peace during the whole transition into eternal life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Leonard Pummill, her father and mother, and brothers, Clarence Lawrence, Thomas Jatoughn Lawrence, and Paul Murray Lawrence.

She is survived by four children, Elizabeth Pummill Whorton, David Leonard Pummill, John Douglas Pummill and Charles Lawrence Pummill. Grand Children: Bradly Scott Whorton, Bryan Webster Whorton, Brittany Whorton Little, Charles Douglas Pummill, Nancy Kay Crabb, Robert Leonard Pummill, James Patrick Pummill, Sallie Claire Pollack, Amy Beth Stewart, Julie Maud Dean, Giles Wayne Pummill, Dorinda Dee Floyd, Mieke Deanine Woestman, Gerald Dax Pummill and 11 great grand children. Henrietta (often called Aunt Hennie) is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews with their respective large families.

Mother constantly cared for others. She shared her life through her thoughts, prayers, kind deeds, healing touch, incredible meals, exquisite handwork and gracious presence in their lives. She will always be remembered by her consummate capability in every task she undertook. Mother was always there with her helping hands, loving advice, impeccable grooming, quiet, deep and always respectful spirituality, super intelligence, and pride in other's accomplishments.
