Henry Chisholm Terry, 77, loving husband, father and grandfather went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2011. He was born March 30, 1933 in Caroline County, Virginia. The son of the late Henry Benjamin and Martha Anne Terry. He retired as Master Chief Petty Officer from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of dedicated service, and was employed with QED systems for 15 years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen Galyen Terry; two daughters, Deborah Eley (husband Robert), Donna Lakeman, (husband Edward), all of Virginia Beach, VA; three grandsons, Patrick Eley (wife Meredith), Aaron Lakeman, Tyler Lakeman; one granddaughter, Mereditheley; two sisters, Doris Stanley (Husband Grayson) of Ruther Glen, VA and Jean Barlow of Hanover, VA; one nephew, two nieces, an uncle, Lewis Corker, and an aunt, Earle Gayle, all of Ruther Glen, VA. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. He will be transferred to Nelson Funeral Home, Ashland, VA for services and burial.
