MILLERSBURG - Henry F. Chubb, 86, of 5260 Upper Road Shamokin passed away Saturday, October 15 at Shamokin Area Community Hospital. He was born on March 1, 1925 in Millersburg, the son of the late Robert P. and Anna Mae Chubb. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He attended St. Paul's UCC, Gowen City, and was a member of the American Legion and VFW both in Millersburg. He was the husband of Carol A. Chubb. Including his wife he is survived by a son Larry and his wife Joan of Millersburg, daughters Linda Chubb of Harrisburg, and Diane Emerson and her husband Scot of Millersburg, step daughter Annette Taylor and her husband Robert of Mount Carmel, grandchildren Matthew Chubb and his wife Shannon and Rebecca Taylor, and great grandchildren Brayden and Brinley. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 5 sisters. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 19th from 10 - 11:00 AM at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Millersburg. Funeral Services will begin 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax. Donations can be made to Post 5507 Blaine G.
