Henry Howard Marvin, Jr.

Hank Marvin was a wonderful uncle. When any member of his family, extended as well as nuclear, needed assistance, Hank was there, both emotionally and materially. Hank and his wife June were welcoming hosts. Whenever people visited them, at least during their "golden retirement years" in Glencoe, Illinois, their enthusiastic reception of their guests was a joy in which to share. Hank will be remembered with love and thankfulness. May blessings be upon June and his and her descendants. Chuck Marvin

I'm so sorry to hear of Hank's death. Hadn't seen him in a long, long time--back in the mid-70s, he gave me a ride from Lincoln to Grand Island, and I remember as we passed through the rural landscape he spoke of his role in developing the outdoor lights that brighten many a farmstead--something I had never thought about before, but certainly a significant innovation of which he was justly proud.
