Mr. Henry Roger Tyler

Henry Roger Tyler, age 76, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia. Roger was retired from the Henrico County Fire Department after 27 years of service. He was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force. Roger was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the Burlington Hunt Club in Charles City, Virginia.

He is survived by his son, Jay Tyler (Annie) and daughter Cindy Pack (Robert). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Stacy Tyler, Patricia Tyler; Brett Francis; Georgia Tyler; Alice Pack; Amy Pack; Joey Jordan; Tyler Jordan; Autumn Pack; and Kirsten Jordan. Roger is also survived by his aunt, Alma Tyler and numerous friends and family members.

The family will receive family and friends, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231 where funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 4 pm with interment immediately following at Washington Memorial Park.
