Hilary Nicole Mankin, 20, of Vermilion died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Bowling Green, Ohio after a brief illness.

Hilary lived in Vermilion all of her life. .

She graduated from Vermilion High School with the Class of 2010. She was a student at Bowling Green State University where she was majoring in drama and theater. Hilary was an RA in the Kriesher-Compton Dormitory and was looking forward to her new position as an Administrative RA next year. In high school she played soccer and was active in Speech and Debate, Drama, and French Club where she was inducted in the French Honor Society. At Bowling Green she was active in the Youth Theater and lived in the Arts Village. She recently pledged the Theta Alpha Phi Theater Sorority.
She loved her life at BGSU and enjoyed reading, acting, movies and being with friends.

She is survived by her mother, Mitzi Mankin, Lakewood; grandmother, Janice Mankin, Vermilion; aunt; uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Oliver Mankin.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 5-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Rugby Cemetery, Brownhelm Township.
