Hilda Virginia Weldy, 87 passed away on October 27, 2011. Hilda was a native of Stockton. She was born on May 2, 1924 to Domenico and Adalcisa Scabbiolo of Italy. Mrs Weldy worked for M. Calosso and Sons for 40 years. Hilda is preceded in death by her husband, James D. Weldy. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie A. Sohnrey, her grandchildren Rachele and Kevin and her great granddaughter, Allie Williamson.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Rosary on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Luke's Church, 3847 N. Sutter St. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
There will be visitation at DeYoungs on Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Committal will be at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the St. Joseph's Medical Center Foundation.
