Homer Jack Livesay, Jr., 77 of Oak Ridge, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Briarcliff Health Care Center. He was born March 7, 1932 in Pressmans Home, Tennessee. Mr. Livesay was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a 5th degree Black Belt in Tai Kwando Karate. Mr. Livesay had owned Vogue Beauty Salon for many years and had been part owner of the Back Door where he enjoyed playing the banjo. He is survived by his wife, Camille Pickard Livesay, with whom he would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on December 26, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents Lynn and Kate Bowers Clark. He is also survived by son, Mark Livesay and wife Marsha of Knoxville; Daughter, Lauren "Susie" Jackson and husband Ray of Oliver Springs; Brother, Gary Clark and wife Terry of Oak Ridge; Sister, Lynda Kay Aquirre of Oak Ridge; Cousin, Betty Jean Campbell and husband, Joe, and their son, Joey and family; Grandchildren, Nicole Russell and husband Toby and Brad Foust, all of Oliver Springs and their father, Tom Foust of Oak Ridge; Rachel Key and husband Jeff of Knoxville, Kristin Bailey and husband Justin of Powell and Dale Jackson of Oliver Springs; Great Grandchildren, Isabella Kate Thornton-Foust and Mackenzie Russell; And special friends, Bill Tyler and Bobby Phillips. The family would like to express their appreciation to his caregivers at Briarcliff Health Care Center. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Weatherford Mortuary from 6 – 8pm. The funeral will follow at 8:00pm with Pastor Robbie Leach of Beech Park Baptist Church officiating. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family asks that any memorials be in the form of contributions to East Tennessee Children's Hospital or a charity of choice. An on-line guest book can be signed at www.weatherfordmortuary.com.
