Smith, Homer Lee, 87, WWII Veteran, passed away November 25, 2011. He was born November 15, 1924 to Claud and Sara Bell (Mangus) Smith in Foss, Oklahoma. Homer married Dorothy Tom Pierce on October 17, 1942 in Alva, OK. Homer was stationed in the Philippines during WWII. He was a salesman by trade, selling real estate for 20 years. He was an avid OU football fan and enjoyed investing in the stock market. He was preceded in death by his parents. Homer is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy Smith; children, Ronald (Valerie) Lee Smith, Donald (Linda) Wayne Smith, and Tommie (Robin) Keith Smith; brother, L.D. Smith, of Pryor, OK; sister, Vera Seifried of Seiling, OK; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; and a large extended family. Service: 1 pm, Tuesday at Lakeview Funeral Home.
