Mr. Howard F. Bjornholm, 76, of Middleton beloved husband of June Gail (Woodbury) Bjornholm with whom he shared 35 years of marriage, died Saturday June 2, 2012 at Beverly Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Toivo F. and Rachel H.E. (Pyyny) Bjornholm. He was raised and educated in Quincy and attended Quincy schools. Howard was an honorably discharged veteran having served his country as a member of the United States Army. Mr. Bjornholm had been employed for 27 years with GTESylvania in Danvers as a computer programmer prior to the time of his retirement. A resident of the Town of Middleton since 1986, Mr. Bjornholm enjoyed his retirement years surrounded by his family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife, Howard is survived by his three sons Peter Bjornholm and his wife Maria of Pelham, NH, David Bjornholm of Palm Bay Fl., Andy Woodbury of Middleton, two daughters Lauria Paluch and her husband Kevin of Amesbury, Karen Johnston and her husband Randy of Leonardtown, MD, four grandchildren, Daniel, Benjamin, Abigail, Gabrielle, a sister Claire and her husband Dr. Daniel Martinez of Centerville, and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held graveside in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers, on Friday June 8 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested there will be no visitation hours.
