Ida "Virginia" Tilley, age 81, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011. She was born on June 20, 1930 in Turley, MO, the daughter of I. Leona (Hart) and Ira Roberts.

Survivors include her companion and friend of over 30 years, Harry Newby of Lenexa, KS; son, John Tilley (Gail) of KC, KS; daughter, Jane Marlo (Scott) of Overland Park, KS; sister, Sidney Dandridge (Hal) of Plato, MO; grandchildren, Amanda (Darrin) Crisler, Nick Marlo and Tilley Marlo; great grandson, Gavin Crisler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Leona McLaughlin; her husband, Harold Tilley; and one brother, Tommy Otto McLaughlin.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Countryside Christian Church, 6101 Nall Ave, Mission, KS. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday evening at D.W. Newcomer's Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Burial will be held in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Plato-Lynch Cemetery, C/O Legacy Bank & Trust, PO Box D, Plato, MO 65552.
