Ima Kellogg, 77, of Hamlet, Indiana, passed away Tuesday November 9, 2010 at La Porte Hospital. She was born February 3, 1933 in Bonnerdale, Arkansas, the daughter of Robert Betts and Elsie (Raspberry) Betts. Ima had lived in the LaPorte area, for forty-three years coming from Missouri. Ima was a homemaker. She was a former Lionette member of Fish Lake. Ima enjoyed flowers, nature, sewing, quilting, bright colors, and ceramics. She enjoyed everyone, she met. Ima especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. On August 6, 1954, in Sacramento, CA, she married Harold Kellogg who survives. She is also survived by her four sons - Scott Kellogg of IN, Ronald Kellogg of IN, Harvey Kellogg of IN, Charles Kellogg of IN; five daughters - Susan Walker of CA, Diane Nadel of IN, Susan Williamson of MI, Mary Sanchez of IN, Kathy Quinn of IN; seventeen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three brothers - Walter Betts of CA, Cecil Betts of AR, Billy Betts of AR; four sisters - Willia Mae Driggers of CA, Louise Simmons of MO, Jean Robins of AR, Uvanna Wheeler of AR. Ima was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, November 12, 2010 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 9:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday November 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ronald Devenport officiating. Interment will follow at the Salem Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Midwest Affiliate Memorials & Tributes Lockbox 3816 Paysphere Circle Chicago, IL 60674.
