Ina Alexandra Reid, 97, a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 5 years, departed this life Friday, May 13, 2011.
Mrs. Reid was born in Jamaica and moved to Port Saint Lucie from Brooklyn, NY.
Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Oscar Reid. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Bennett, of Bronx, NY, Dorothy Johnson, of Port Saint Lucie, and Millicent Phillips, of Marietta, GA; sons, Gladston Horrabin, of Mt. Vernon, NY, and Keith Reid, of Brooklyn, NY; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at First Baptist Church, 115 NE Solida Drive, Port Saint Lucie. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City.
Arrangements under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie.
