Irene C. Chastain
Easley, SC

Irene Crowe Chastain, 92, formerly of Rampey Street, and wife of the late J.T. Chastain, passed away Tuesday, November 01, 2011.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late L.H. and Nettie Holcombe Crowe.

Mrs. Chastain was homemaker and member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Easley.

Surviving are two daughters, Doris Suddeth (Melvin) of Pickens and Margaret Kennemer (Jerry) of Mauldin; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, predeceased by three sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 2:30 PM at the funeral home.

The family will be at their respective homes.
