Irene M. Patrick, 76, of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at home with her loving family at her side. Born in Buttzville, NJ on May 8, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Andrew George and Mary Stoken Makatura. Irene had been a bookkeeper for the former Subaru dealership in Glen Gardner, NJ. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Joseph S. Patrick; a son, Joseph and his wife Theresa of Bangor, PA; two daughters, Donna Kinne and her husband Dean of Hood River, OR, and JoAnn Unangst and her husband Harry of Belvidere, NJ; two granddaughters, Rebekah and Stephanie Unangst; a sister, Margaret Hinline of Oxford, NJ; two brothers, Earl Makatura of Oxford, NJ and Andrew G. Makatura of Palmerton, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in her memory to the Belvidere Ambulance Corps, Compassionate Care Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
