Irene V. Lambert, 87, of Port St. Lucie, Florida died, October 16, 2011 at St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie.
Born in Ossining, New York, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 31 years coming from Smithtown, New York.
She was a homemaker. She was of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, George H. Lambert Sr. of Port St. Lucie; sons, George H. Lambert Jr. of Stuart, Florida, John Lambert of Melbourne, Florida and Ralph Lambert of Fort Valley, Georgia, a daughter Joyce Lambert of Fort Valley, Georgia; brothers, Louis Galletto of Pawling, New York and Gabriel Galletto of Port St. Lucie; a sister, Lucy Veteran of Lake Winola, Pennsylvania; twelve grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Bruce Lambert; a sister Anna Chiulli and a brother Ralph Galletto.
Services will be private. Inurnment will be in South Florida National Cemetery.
