Ivan E. Yeiter , 83, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born in Hamilton, ND. Ivan worked as a operator with Bercot and Gibson for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and a past Golden Gloves boxing champion. Surviving are his wife, Patricia L. Yeiter of Fort Wayne, daughter, Nancy Kaczmarczyk of Fort Wayne, daughter, Diane (Dennis) Hilgemann of Fort Wayne, son, Kevin (Gina) Yeiter of Fort Wayne, son, Kelly Yeiter of Harlan, 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren . Ivan was preceded in death by his parents William and Sigrid Yeiter, and brother Cecil Yeiter. Service is 10:30 am, February 18, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue,with Pastor Arthur Klausmeier officiating with calling 1 hr prior. Calling also 2-5 and 7-9 pm Friday at the Funeral Home.
