J.C. Wells, 81, of Bryant passed away Friday, December 30, at the V.A. Hospital. J.C. was born in Morrilton Arkansas on August 10, 1930 the son of Ruby Lesslie and Jessie Ina Wells. He worked as a concrete finisher and owned Collegeville Station for several years. He was married to Helen Abney Wells for 61 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, four brothers, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of Bryant; a daughter Marilyn Coursey of Bryant; a son Paul and wife Aneida of Alexander; a daughter Ina McCollum of Benton; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and one sister Ruby Wells Mobley of Searcy, Arkansas and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss him dearly.
Services are private.
