Oliver, J.V. of Knoxville passed away Friday May 24, 2013 at his home. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and was retired from Greyhound Bus Lines. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers and three sisters. Survived by wife: Helen Oliver; daughter: Janice Oliver; son: Gordon Oliver and a host of other friends. Friends may call at their convenience Saturday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel or the family will receive friends at Greenwood Cemetery 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday prior to Graveside Services at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Maston Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to your favorite charity.
