Services for Jack A. Walker, 88, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Sam Moses officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery, near Bernice, LA; with a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Mr. Walker passed away November 28, 2010 in Shreveport, as a result of Pancreatic Cancer. He was a retired District Fleet Manager with Foremost Dairies, a U.S. Navy vetreran of WW II, serving on the USS Quick as a Chief Machinist Mate. He was a devoted member of the Broadmoor Baptist Church, a member of the Berean Sunday School Class and a longtime resident of Shreveport.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie "Fran" Smith Walker; brother, Joel M. Walker, Jr. and sister, Mary Walker Fortner.

Survivors include his daughter, S. Lynn Walker of Shreveport, LA; sister, Mozelle Bergman of St. Maries, Idaho; and brother, Clyde A. Walker of Shreveport, LA.

Pallbearers will be Alan Jordan, James Brantly, Wesley Sandifer, John Neal, Kelby Neal, and Milton Roberts.
