John (Jack) Bold, age 74, of Old Forge, passed away Saturday evening at home. Born in Old Forge, on February 19, 1937, son of the late John P. Bold and Mildred McCamley and step-father Robert McCamley, John was educated in Old Forge Schools and prior to his retirement, he had worked for both the former J.J. Super's and Old Country Buffet. Of Roman Catholic faith, he was a member of St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church in Old Forge. A horse breeder who had competed in Western Riding and shown his horses in numerous shows and at the St. Patrick's Day Parade, he had won many awards and ribbons. He is survived by his adoring cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday at 10:00AM at St. Lawrence O'Toole, 620 S. Main Street in Old Forge, to be celebrated by Rev. Louis T. Kaminski, Pastor. Interment, Milwaukee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's name to either Griffin Pond Animal Shelter (967 Griffin Pond Road, Clarks Summit, 18411) or to Over The Hill Horse Farm (c/o Aberdeen Stables, 1175 Aberdeen Road, Madison Twp., 18444).
