Jack Cahoon
September 24, 1925-January 23, 2012
Mr. Cahoon, 86, of Meridianville died Monday at a local hospital. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. He retired from Redstone Arsenal where he worked for the US Army as a computer programmer. Mr. Cahoon was minster of music for 31 years at Bethany Baptist and also served as interim Music Minster at First Baptist of Meridianville and Woodlandhill Baptist. He was preceded in death by his great grandchild, Ben Cole III
He is survived by his wife Lenita; one son- Michael Cahoon and wife Lisa; four daughters Jackie Cresswell, Brenda Davis and husband John, Janice Tucker and Husband David and Cheryl Johnson and husband Carlos; 11 grandchildren- Seth Cresswell and wife Shanara, Brian Cresswell and wife Cristy, Amy Mitchell and husband Scott, Johnny Davis Jr., Allison Cole and husband Ben, Angie Pearman and husband Zach, Matthew Tucker, Adam Tucker, Jessie Cahoon, Ben Cahoon and Christy Johnson; 10 great grandchildren-Tyler Mitchell, Jackson Mitchell, Madison Mitchell Macy Mitchell, Anna Grace Davis, Allie Cole, Jack Cole, Kayleigh Pearman, Andrew Cresswell and Ethan Cresswell.
The Funeral Service will be Thursday at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church Meridianville. The visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00pm till 9:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Dr. Tommy Bolan will be officiating. The interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
