Jack David "Red Top" Rhodes October 14, 1927 ~ November 11, 2010 Graveside services for Jack David "Red Top" Rhodes, 83, of Metarie, Louisiana are set for 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 15, 2010, at the Oaklawn Cemetery Pavillion in Somerville, Texas, under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home of Somerville. Mr. Rhodes passed away November 11, 2010, in Jefferson, Louisiana. Jack was born October 14, 1927, to Thomas Richard Rhodes and Ruby Eldridge Rhodes in Somerville, Texas. Jack is survived by his six children; David Rhodes and wife Vickie of Angleton, Tommy Rhodes of New Orleans, Mitch Rhodes of Las Vegas, Nevada, Penny Rhodes of Stafford, Texas, Debbie Hardy and husband Gordon of Alvin, Texas, Sondra Perez and husband Cipry of Houston, 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
