Jack D. Johnson, 85, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, Lonesome Dove Baptist Church, 2380 Lonesome Dove Rd., Southlake, the Rev. Bob Stith officiating. Interment: 3 p.m. in Elm Grove Cemetery, Westminster. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home, 523 South Main, Grapevine.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his honor to the Jack D. Johnson Scholarship Fund. Please contact Carroll ISD for information.
Mr. Johnson proudly served as the superintendent of Carroll ISD for 30 years. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
Survivors: His daughter, Sheila Croy and husband, Larry; son, Tommy Johnson and wife, Renee'; grandchildren, Jeff and Laura Croy, Mitzi Cararra, Mandi Matlock and Charley Johnson; great-grandchildren, Aiden Isom, Sofia Cararra, Modean Croy, Mary and Jack Matlock.
