HALIFAX- Jack L. Seiler, age 68, of 204 N. 3rd St. passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Halifax, PA, the son of the late Roscoe and Annabell Steffen Seiler. He was retired from the Dauphin County Prison and then worked at the former Triple L Tire in Halifax and Boyer Pools in Millersburg. He was a member and past Fire Chief of the Halifax Fire Co., member of Halifax Ambulance Assoc., Halifax VFW, PA Fire Chiefs Assoc. and Teamsters local union. Jack was very active with the local fire police and also was a security guard at Halifax High School sporting events. Survivors include his wife Shirley Kolva Seiler, a son Rodney Seiler of Halifax, two grandchildren Ross and Cierra Seiler both of Halifax, a twin sister Jacqueline Seiler and a brother Max Seiler both of Halifax, three step children Charles Kolva and William Kolva, Jr. both of Halifax and Donna Jane Zeiders of Milton, DE, three step grandchildren Chad Kolva, Seth Kolva, and Amy Morgan, a niece Michele Seiler and a nephew Matthew Seiler and a great nephew Nathan Daniels. He was preceded in death by a sister Linda. There will be a viewing on Sunday, June 12 from 6-8 pm and Monday June 13 from 10-11 am at the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg. Services will begin at 11:00 am on Monday, June 13 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax. Donations can be made to the Halifax Fire Co. 22 S.
