Jack R. Smith of Spiro, Oklahoma was born February 5, 1944, in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Thurman R.C. and Mary Lou (Jones) Smith and passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009, in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 64.

He is preceded in death by his parents. He was retired from Jones Truck Lines of Fort Smith, Arkansas and drove a bus for Spiro Schools. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association and Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
