Jack Spitzmesser, age 83, of Fairmount, IN, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Marion General Hospital in Marion, IN. He joined his beloved wife of almost 50 years. He married Mary Lou O'Dell on April 13, 1946 in Wabash, Indiana. He was a dedicated husband, Father and Grandfather.He was born to the late Ralph E. and the late Margaret E (Corn) Spitzmesser on December 21, 1925 at Fairmount, IN Mr Spitzmesser retired from Delco Remy Anderson in 1975 after more than 30 years of service. He was of the UAW Local- 662 and the Fairmount United Methodist Church.One Daughter: Sandra(Mrs. William) O'Malley, East Petersburg, PAOne Son: David Spitzmesser, Terre Haute, INOne Sister: Janice(Mrs. Paul) Fields, Factoryville, PAOne Grand sonShawn O'Malley, East Petersburg, PAOne Great GrandaughterSamantha O'Malley, Carlisle, PANieces;Cheryl (Shambaugh) WilsonSusan (Shambaugh) StewartRenita (Sellers) HunzikerKay (Fields) SainatoNephews;Paul Fields Jr.James Sellers Jr.Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S.
