Jackie Hayman, 69, of Freedom, Indiana, passed away at her residence on February 6, 2012. She was born on April 12, 1942 in Hammond to Gilbert Daniel and Dorothy Mae (Evans) Cisco. She was a mother and homemaker. Mrs. Hayman was a member of the Spencer Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and the Owen County Historical and Preservation Society. She enjoyed reading in her spare time.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles Otis Hayman, Sr.; sons, William Daniel (Leslie) Hayman of Westville, Charles Otis Hayman, Jr. of Chesterton; daughters, Gloria Mae (Dave) Henderlong of Michigan City, Dianna Lynn (Lupe) Mejia of Hamilton, and Cynthia Renee (Daniel) James of Mauldin, South Carolina; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Sandra Rumsey and Linda Hamby.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Elder Dick Davis will officiate. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Owen County.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Wednesday.
