Jackie Rogers, age 68, of Kensett, Arkansas passed away June 30, 2012. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Jackie believed very very strongly in a few important things in life: Jesus Christ, his family, his country, and his community. He dedicated his life to being a loving husband, father, grandfather, and neighbor to anyone who needed his help.

Jackie is survived by his wife of forty seven years, Katie (Allison) Rogers; two sons, Bryon Rogers and wife, Gina of Searcy, Bret Rogers and wife, Lisa of Providence; six grandchildren, Zachary and Zoe Rogers, Tanner and Beth Ann Rogers, Dale and Dustin Curtis; Great grandchildren, Colton and Kayden Curtis; three brothers, James Rogers and wife, Nancy of Woodville, Texas, Bobby Rogers and wife, Cheri of McRae, Billy Rogers and wife, Sandy of Beebe and one sister, Martha Rogers of McRae. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Ava Nell Rogers of Beebe and an infant brother, Danny Earl.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Kensett First Baptist Church. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday July 3, 2012, at Kensett First Baptist Church, with interment in West Point Cemetery.
