Jacob W. Ott, 30, of Johnstown, passed away on October 17, 2010. He was born on September 19, 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Mary Ann Ott. He has lived in Colorado since 1995. Jacob graduate from Loveland High School in 1999 and went on to earn his Computer Science degree in 2003 from Colorado University. He worked for Agilent in Loveland and Hewlett Packard in Boulder doing Product Development and Research as well as doing IT work. Jake liked to swim and went to state while he was a student at Loveland High School. He enjoyed watching the Avalanche, Broncos, playing pool and reading. Jacob also liked working on cars, gaming and building computers. He loved figuring out how things worked. At the age of 10 Jake took apart the furnace in his family's home and put back together with no issue. He married Tiffani Alexander in 2007 at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. Jake and Tiffani resided in Johnstown, CO with their two children, Alexis and Christian. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father. Jake's deepest passion was his children. Jake was an amazing father to his daughter Alexis and step-son Christian. He loved watching them grow and develop new skills. Spending time with Alexis at the park and helping Christian with his homework were just a few of the things he treasured about being a father. Jacob is survived by his wife, Tiffani J. Ott of Johnstown; parents, James and Mary Ann Ott of Broomfield; son, Christian Olivas of Johnstown; daughter, Alexis K. Ott of Johnstown; brother, Joshua Ott of Broomfield; grandmother, Marjorie Mueller of St. Louis, Missouri. He is preceded in death by grandfathers, John William Mueller and John William Ott; grandmother, Elma Ott. The memorial service is at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2010 at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland followed by a reception.
