Jacquie was born and raised in Braintree Massachusetts. She met Edgar (Bud) Thomas at the Dartmouth Winter Carnival in 1945 and they married June 14, 1947. This year would have marked they're 65th wedding anniversary. During that time Jacquie supported Bud through medical school, traveled with him extensively in the Navy and helped Bud set up a private practice in San Diego, California. Jacquie and Bud raised five children, Greg, Debbie, Glenn, Jeff and Steven. Jacquie is survived by eight grand children and ten great grand children.
During their years together Jacquie and Bud traveled to many locations worldwide and in their motor home. She gave to many of her favorite charities and was active with the Social Service Auxiliary. Throughout the years they enjoyed the company of many dear friends and selflessly raised their five children.
Jacquie was a proud woman who held herself with dignity as she suffered through many years of illness until it took her from us on January 28, 2012. She was always more concerned about someone else's welfare and maintained a sense of humor until the end. How she lived and died, as a loving wife and mother set an example for all of her family and she is going to be sorely missed by all.
