Jacqueline Marcia Gesslein, 88, of Windsor, VA, passed away January 23, 2012, in Lake Prince Woods, Suffolk, VA. A native of Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Irma Bodden and the widow of John P. Gesslein. She was a retired Ward Clerk for North Shore Hospital on Long Island, NY. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Karen G. Timmers and husband Roger of Windsor, VA and Cathy A. Wagner and husband James of White Stone, VA; two sons, John P. Gesslein, Jr. and wife Susan of Viola, WI and William N. Gesslein and wife Patricia of Brooklyn, NY; a sister, Carol Knight of Beverly, MA; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Romeo Jazmine officiating. The burial will follow in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery in Suffolk, VA. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
