James A. Kinnison passed away October 30, 2011. He was born October 31, 1950. Jim is survived by his two sons Michael Timothy and Ryan James; their mother Ladebra P. Todd; Michael’s two daughters, Adrianna and Brittni; Ryan’s wife Katie, their son Timothy; his sister Penny Weideman; her husband Dalis; his cousin Judy Simson; and several nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents Robert and Patsy; his sister Teresa, and two brothers Timothy and Michael R. After graduating high school, Jim joined the Army (buddy system) with his best friend Gilbert Henjum, they served two years in Vietnam. After leaving the service Jim started his 30-year career in fiberglass (fabrication). His career gave him and his family an opportunity to travel to many different states from Washington to Mississippi back to Washington. Jim was best known for his love of life, watching sports, and playing with his grandson. In his earlier years it was not just watching sports, but, playing fast pitch softball, pool, dirt bike riding, dune bugging, street bikes, long hair, pulling on his stirrup boots and he was good to go! What a life. He will be missed by many. Jim’s service will be held Friday, November 4th, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th and Union Street, Kennewick. Please come and join us, following the service, in a celebration of his life at Michael’s home, 35405 S. Haney Road in Finley.
