James Calvin Brooks died, Monday, November 4 at his home in Aberdeen. He was 70. Born in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late Leonard L. and Martha E. (Wilder) Brooks. Mr. Brooks had worked as an electrical salesman at various businesses in the area. He enjoyed playing bridge and traveling, but especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Roberta (Schueler) Brooks; son, Daniel S. Brooks and wife Samantha of Dundalk; daughter, Lisanne M. Blakeand husband Phillip of Bel Air; grandchildren, Bradley, Hannah and Dominick Brooks and Andrew and Ashleigh Blake and his brother William L. Brooks of Reno, NV. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on Thursday, November 7 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 8 at 10:00am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Interment will be held at Baker Cemetery in Aberdeen, MD.
