James "Joe" Courtney, 74, of West New York passed away at Meadowlands Medical Center on Thursday March 3, 2011. Born in Jersey City, he was a resident of West New York for 39 years.Joe was a retired computer librarian for Simon & Schuster Publishing Co. in Old Tappan.He was a member of the West New York Senior Citizens. He is the beloved husband of Sarah (Elisano) Courtney. Devoted father of Jeffrey James Courtney. Dear brother of Bernard Courtney and Patricia Courtney.
