James E. Six, 49, of Maroa, IL passed away on Wednesday (Oct. 24, 2012) in his residence.
A service to celebrate James' life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 26, 2012) at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
Mr. Six was born on February 3, 1963 in Jacksonville, IL, the son of John and Melba (Rider) Six. James worked for Kelly's Potato Chip Co. for 10 years and then he later worked for PCM/Kelly Group for 15 years. He attended First General Baptist Church in Decatur. James married Vickie M. Lamb on February 7, 1987.
Surviving are his wife: Vickie M. Six of Maroa, IL; mother: Melba Six of Decatur, IL; children: Cody (Courtney) Six of Forsyth, IL, Nicholas Six of Maroa, IL and Erik Lamb of Forsyth, IL; brothers: John (Ellen) Six of Decatur, IL and Jeff Six of Maroa, IL; sister: Joyce Six of Decatur, IL; grandson: Tristan Lamb of Forsyth, IL.
James was preceded in death by his father and one brother: Michael Six.
