Crossley, James H., 85, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Partington) Crossley. Born in Pawtucket a son of the late Robert W. and Hope (Sisson) Crossley, he had been a resident of Warwick since 1957. He attended the University of Rhode Island and was a member of the Class of 1947. For over 30 years Mr. Crossley was employed as a cost accountant with the Davol Rubber Co. He was a WW II Army veteran serving in the China and Burma theaters of operation. He is survived by three sons: David P. Crossley and his wife, Susan, of East Greenwich; James H. Crossley, Jr. and his companion, Jane Tyler, of Coventry; and Robert W. Crossley of Warwick. He was the grandfather of Stephanie A. Crossley of Vienna, VA, and brother of Willard S. Crossley of Cumberland and the late Robert S. Crossley.
His funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 West Shore Road, Warwick, RI 02889 will be appreciated.
