I first met Jim some 46 years ago at my first Wesco Fabrics sales meeting and we became instant friends. Even after he left Wesco and opened his own business we remained best of friends.
My wife has often said, “ you realize your best man friend lives some eleven hundred miles away. But that has never seemed to matter.”

Over the years we have done many things and gone many places. Some were for work and some for play and often we managed to work and play on the same trip.

So, all in all, we have had MANY good times over the years. We have also had some sad times. But we were always there for each other. For me this is the saddest of all. I will miss him tremendously. When I look back over our years of friendship I say “HEY, WE HAD A GREAT RUN”!

Jim was a wonderful person to know…always welcoming and always friendly. I first met him in the plan-room many, many years ago. When I came to work for Star Construction 2007, I was new and knew no one. It brought me great comfort to see a familiar face- and always around on Wednesdays for poker night. He was always kind and one of the best people I have had the privilege to know. I will miss him. God Bless everyone enduring his loss.

Our friendship started over 60 years ago at Garfield Elementary school in Ponca City, OK. Though we have been separated by many miles over these years, we have always stayed in touch. Most recently we enjoyed being on a cruise together with other friends from Ponca City. I am very grateful for that week and will always remember it with fondness. Jim has always been in my heart and will remain there until we meet again. Pam and Kelly your Father was a wonderful person and will be missed by many people.
