Mr. James Herbert Horton, Jr., 55, died August 12, 2009 at Shands Hospital at University of Florida, Gainesville.

He was born in Vero Beach, FL and has lived in Suwannee County, FL for 18 years.

Survivors include his son, James R. Horton of McAlpin, FL; brother, David A. Horton of McAlpin, FL and 2 grandchildren.

SERVICES: Visitation will be 4-7 pm on August 16, 2009 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on August 17, 2009 at Winter Beach Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Tipton officiating.
