James Herman Frick, Sr., 79, of Greeley died on November 17, 2010 at North Colorado Medical Center. He was born on August 8, 1931 in Sidney, NE, to Jake and Erma (Schuler) Frick. He enlisted in the Army in 1952 and served during the Korean Conflict. In 1955, he married Dorothy Fries in Bridgeport, NE. In 1972, he moved to Greeley. He co-owned and operated F & F Dozer Service with his brother, Bob. He then worked for Nobel Energy, maintaining the contaminated land farm. He loved watching WWE, Old Westerns, woodworking, and tinkering with anything he could find. He was a former member of Moose Lodge #909 and the American Legion Post #29 in Bridgeport, NE. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents; brothers, George and Don; sisters, Janice and Dorothy; and two nephews. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; sons, James Jr. (Diana), Rick (Lori), Jerry (Verna); brothers, Bob and Jack; a sister, Shirley; granddaughters, Misty (Cody), Jillian, and Sherri (C.J.); grandsons, Zachary and Shawn; great-granddaughters, Harley and Katelyn; and great-grandsons, Javen, Bode, Malcolm, and Taurean. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens.
