James J. McDonough, Sr., 86, of Port St. Lucie, passed away, Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Treasure Coast Hospice residence in Ft. Pierce, FL.
Mr. McDonough was born in Eastchester, NY. He had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past twenty four years coming from Westchester, NY.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife Regina McDonough and his son, James J. McDonough, Jr.
Survivors include his loving companion of 15 years, June Edwards; three daughters, Deborah J. Cacciatore both of Port St. Lucie, FL; Regina M. Downing of Lagrange, NY; Kathleen DiMassimo of Lake Carmel, NY; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation: Friends may call from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Forest Hills-Byrd, Young & Prill Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie, Fl.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, May 2, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
