In loving memory of James Dwight Hodges, born on November 5, 1946 in Indiana, James passed away October 21, 2011 in Modesto, Ca. he is now with our Heavenly Father.
James spent his youth in Ohio, then moved to California, he made his home in California, he shared his growing up years in Ohio with his wife and family and many friends here in California.
James is survived by his beloved wife Jeannie Hodges, two step children and their families, including six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, a cherished brother, loving sister and their families. James made many, many friends who all loved him and now miss him.
Whether you knew him as James, Jimmie, Jim, JD, Jaymoo, or Hon, when you think of him you will recall good memories and love. He died doing what he loved and that was riding his motorcycle with one of his best friends. He loved his guitars and music. He never meet a stranger because every one he meet was his friend. He loved talking, laughing and having a good time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Morton Whetson Funeral Home in Vandalia, Ohio on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
