James "Jim" Krotky, 85 of Clermont, passed away on October 28, 2011. He was born June 9, 1926 in Willow Grove, OH to Frank and Josephine Krotky. Jim was a retired SMSgt. with the U.S. Air Force having honorably served his country for 28 years. He was also a dedicated member of the Bahia Shrine and the American Legion Post 1 in Paris, France. He is preceded in death by his son James L. Krotky, Jr. He is survived by his daughters Kathleen Goodman and Mary Ann Hull; grandchildren Elizabeth Powell, Edward L. Goodman, Brandon S. Hull, Andrea Krotky, Marina Krotky, and Samara Krotky; great-grandchildren Michael Powell, Dylan Goodman, and Carlee Goodman; and his sister Marcella Bibbee. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 4PM at the Baldwin Fairchild Lake Ivanhoe Chapel in Orlando. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bahia Shrine Transportation Fund, 2300 Pembrook Avenue, Orlando, FL 32810.
