Services for James L. Riley, 79, will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Sunday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel with Rev. Sandra King, Rev. John Griffith and Mrs. Priscilla Griffith officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Boys Farm, P.O. Box 713, Newberry, SC 29108. Mr. Riley passed away, Friday, February 24, 2012. Born in Lexington County, he was a son of the late John Derrick and Emma Ruth Lindler Riley. He was a member of Chapel By The River, L-B American Legion, the Blue Tick Breeders Assoc., served in the U.S. Navy during Korea, and was a retired CPA. He was a former member of the B-L Lions Club, the Board of Leesville United Methodist Church, Lexington County School District 3, and AICPA . Surviving are his wife, Louise Janes Riley; sons, Miles Riley of Leesville and Mark Riley of Batesburg; brothers, Don Riley (Ethel) and John David Riley (Kay), both of Lexington; sisters, Edith Wessinger (James Franklin) and Alice Ruth Harmon (Buddy), both of Chapin; sister-in-law, Pat Riley of Florence; grandchildren, Austin Riley, Olivia Riley Carney, Andrew Janes Riley, Matthew Charles Riley, and Candace Maria Riley. He was predeceased by a brother, Gene Ralph Riley.
