James Morgan, Jr. February 21, 1933 ~ August 4, 2009 James Morgan, Jr., 76, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, IN. He was a resident of Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, IN and a former resident of Marion, IN. James was born February 21, 1933 in Bradyville, TN, the son of the late James and Nursie (Burks) Morgan. He was a graduate of Woodbury High School, Woodbury, TN, and after graduation married Addie Grace Reed on January 19, 1952 and moved to Indiana. God blessed our family with a good man. His gifts to others on this earth were not by words but deeds. For all those who crossed his path, knew James as a gentle accommodating person willing to help out when called upon. He was a loving Christian husband and father, who now is in God's care. James retired in 1990 from the Marion General Motors Plant after 32 years of service as a Production & Scheduling supervisor. Additionally, James was a member of Sunnycrest Baptist Church, Marion, IN. James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nursie Morgan. Survivors include his wife, Addie Grace, Greenwood, IN; son, Michael (Michelle) Morgan of Marion, IN; daughters, Angela Morgan of Jupiter, FL and Judy (Bob) Lohr of Greenwood, IN; four grandchildren, Philip Morgan, Lauren Morgan, Marion, IN, Kim Rubush, Scott Lohr, Greenwood, IN; four great grandchildren, two sisters Avelene Warren and Lois Clements both residing in Nashville, TN. The Rev. David Owens, Chaplain of Franklin United Methodist Community will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 PM. on Friday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion. Friends may call Friday from 12-1at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, IN. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
