James O. "Jim" Southern, 77, passed away Monday, February 6, 2012. Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Janice E. Southern of Fort Wayne, daughter, Julie (Miles) Thompson, son, Michael Southern, sister, Pam Riley, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by their son, David Southern. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or Indiana Organ Procurement Organization.
